Samsara's CMO Ran a 2.5-Week Agent Bootcamp for Half Her Team
Samsara has 113 AI agents in production and 40 more in development, and its marketing headcount has stayed flat, says Chief Marketing Officer Meagen Eisenberg. On a GTMnow episode, she described training more than half of her 260-person marketing organization to build agents through a structured bootcamp lasting 2.5 weeks.
The structure is the point. Rather than centralizing AI expertise in a specialist team, Eisenberg trained everyone to build agents inside their own function, arguing that the skill set should live within each person’s expertise. The person who knows what a good account-based marketing page looks like is the person who builds the agent that drafts one.
The cycle-time numbers she cites are specific. Account-based marketing landing pages that once took two to three weeks now take under 30 minutes. A rebrand that would have taken six months was completed in about 3.5 weeks. Content output rose from weekly to roughly ten pieces a day. These are figures from Eisenberg’s own account on the podcast, not an independent audit, so treat them as a claim to test against your own baseline.
Two management choices sit underneath the results. She made AI fluency a performance requirement: no employee can receive the highest calibration rating without actively building agents. And she kept the hiring bar high.
Eisenberg frames AI as a production shift that changes how work gets done, unlike earlier platform shifts such as social media or product-led growth, which mainly changed reach or buyers.
For sales and go-to-market leaders, the template is concrete: train within functions, tie the skill to the rating, and measure the return in speed and output. Start by timing one repeatable deliverable on your team today, so the before number exists when the first agent ships.
